Need help about GIAC turning

i have seen some a comparison diagram shows that maximum horse power that we can get from the jb4, procede v5, GIAC and Cobb . The result shows jb4 and procede V5 or whatever can produce more hp and potential hp. But the GIAC stage 2 looks like only can produce around 380 hp with full mods. I just want to know, is this GIAC stage 2 strong enough? I mean can the stage 2 beat the M3 as the others turning did, such as jb4 and procede v5?
Can you guys give me some suggestions?

GIAC is decent software, it's just not as popular because of a few reasons:

-can't flash at home, have to use GIAC dealer in person or send ecu via mail
-dealer can flash over the software, leaving your car stock again. PITA to have to keep getting reflashed
-no resell value what so ever. procede, jb4, cobb can be taken off and sold when you get rid of the car
-GIAC isn't very active on this forum, while cobb, bms, and vishnu are

Yes, it's a very good flash that is also flexible. The load flasher has a few options that can be switched via the OBDII at a push of a button. I.E. Stage 2, Race map, Vallet map, and stock map. Zero downtime between any of the maps.

I have the Stage 2 Race and I got 356whp on a Mustang Dyno, and a modded e92 M3 (software/intake) got 350whp on the same dyno. I got 116mph trap speed and 12.57ET with 2.0 60ft.

I had 2 versions of the flash, the first one was more powerful with more low-end torque but the timing was pulled from time to time (not felt but it was there on logs). The second one is less powerful down low but timing is not pulled. I miss the first version...

However, one thing I would like to mention about the GIAC Stage 2 is that I never had the slightest issue with it. You just drive the car, it feels 100% smooth, no hiccups, no misfires, not the smallest problem in any weather conditions. It just works.

Also the maps can be changed on the fly. Not that you ever need that feature, but it is there.

This is on a Mustang dynamometer. It reads lower. I believe it translates to over 400whp on a Dynojet (but I have no proof besides the VirtualDyno conversion which converts the 356whp Mustang to 408whp dynojet )

haha, you like GIAC a lot hum! So, on the dyno shows your car has 356whp, have you ever try to race with the e92 m3? can you beat the m3 as the video did from the youtube. :) i'm thinking of upgrade my GIAC to stage 2, if you are certain of GIAC.

Giac is good...but I personally suggest you go with a tune that can be pur back to stock, since your an 09 im assuming you still have warranty, its a pain in the ass the have the dealer erase the software..
Look into: procede or cobb

to run stage 2 you need bolt-ons, like intercooler, downpipes and intake. you cant run that stock...
