I designed a 1M Anniversary Edition
Thought the 1M is best compared to the E30M from 1986. So, I tried to recapture the essence of that car. Please review the pictures I took today below. Please note that I had redone the trunk lid and moved the front splitters back to reduce the raciness that the car showed previously.
Painted Grill surround Chrome inserts carbon fiber mirror covers Painted side markers Racemesh lower intake grill custom splitters carbon rear diffuser csl carbon trunklid with lip partially left unpainted painted calipers paint fade on rockers, splitters, antenna whalen shift machine custom shifter and handbrake rennline pedals including paint to match heal toe extension carbon fiber dash kit BMW alcantara steering wheel cover cp-e duel cone intake Burger JB 4 N55 midpipes xpel ultimate paint protection Custom designed E30 25 year anniversary logo (Decals available upon request) Decals Available! Wasn't this car posted before and then the thread was deleted due to everyone not liking it? Or was it a different orange one with a similar type of design?

Who makes the trunk? IMO the gaps are way too wide (relative to stock) and perhaps equally worse, are not uniformly wide (especially around the "s" shape of the tail lights). But then again I am anal, so personally wouldn't be able to live with that variance...

I like the fact that this build is different than everyone's expectation and consensus. I may agree or disagree but this is a nice mod list and you will have a unique car versus a cookie-cutter car.

It looks like an icarbon trunk to me.
Also im really anal, and the fact that your sticker is slightly lower than your badge is bugging the crap out of me |

The smaller ones on the side windows look great in my opinion though. |

the trunk looks amazing. i agree that is the best CSL trunk. the thickness of the ducktail is perfect. the flat point is compairable to the m6 and 3 series trunk. some recent trunks are too sharp at the point. if i built a 1M, it would be very much like your car but with the wheels painted black. is that an icarbon trunk? |

I just went into the garage and played with the adjustment a little since I didn't care about the gap before. I was able to move it forward and down a little so that the tolerances are 1/8 inch to the BMW. In other words, the standard gaps are around 1/8 inch, while the trunk lid in the picture had gaps that were over 1/4 inch. Now those gaps are all under 1/4 inch therefore within 1/8 inch to the standard.

Still thinking of a subtle overlay, or emblem in silver where the front of the rockers are black, and into the orange, and possible over the black part of the splitter. Maybe like a web. Just can't seem to get it figured out yet.

I shall reserve more direct comments to myself. But considering that this is just my opinion, I just want to say that you have managed to turn a rather attractive machine into something very difficult to look at
