Do you leave your JB4 in when you take your car over?

LPFP or HPFP? Which ever went out 2 weeks ago, it could be the other fuel pump.

could be the fuel pressure sensor, i had to change mine on my previous 335i

i feel my fuel pump might be going soon, its been acting weird at idle sometimes, no long cranks though (yet)

I feel like mine is on the way out too. Sucks just had mine replaced in September under warranty. And now I'm out of warranty. Only 34k so have plenty of time. Just worried. Cause now I have cat less downpipes and I'm not going to remove them.

with or without extended warranty, the fuel pump is covered 100k/10yr but not sure about the sensor.

Even BMW is so quick to change the HPFP because they just assume thats the cause... kinda makes you wonder what kind of asshats they have diagnosing the cars.

I'm gonna update my tune to the latest maps and see if that addresses the issue, I guess i'm just being paranoid from my old car.

Have they changed any of your fuel injectors? Lots of people are finding out they have mis-coded or not coded injectors after the dealship performed the recall. See Vasillovs DIY.
