Exclamation F30's in real life - photos...

So... today I was over at my BMW Zentrum and I noticed they got their new F30 demos. So I snapped a few pics for you all. The new 3er looks much better in person than in photos. Much like the new (F20) 1er does.

Great pictures! I finally get to see the F30 with 17" rims. It still looks quite good. I agree with you about when you see the 1 series in person, it looks so much better. So I can't wait to see the F30 in person, even though I'm convinced on its looks already!

China gets a LWB (long wheel base) model of the 3er & 5er built in China.

Limousine means sedan in German. Most Germans buy Kombi's (Station Wagons) over here. Because most people can only afford ONE new car.

17 inch wheels don't look bad at all.
Ive ordered a 320d sport line and comes with 17 inch wheels and it was something I wish I had upgraded but looking at these pictures I'm going to be a happy chappy :-)

The next time I see some F30's I will take better shots of the wheels. I did not realize you guys have not seen the cars up close. I kind of thought this was old news... but I guess not.

Oh yes please do take more pictures! The 320i sportline that I'm ordering has standard 17" double spoke style 392 rims. I would love to see an F30 sporting those wheels, as I'm still considering whether to upgrade to the usual 18" sportline rims. Thanks!

Totally agree. I wouldn't mind having the 17" on mine. But I love the sportline 18's so much!

Dackelone, thanks very much for your pictures again.

I saw the F30 in person at the recent Toronto Autoshow, and I agree, they look better in person.

I am really liking the new Imperial Blue.

AFAIK the EU sport line has the 17" wheels or you can upgrade to the 18" wheels.(328i and 335i standard).
The red Sportline F30s in this thread are 320d's not 328/335.

About the emblems: You can tick 'delete emblem' at the options list at no cost just like the US specced cars.

Cheers

The red car in my photos also has WINTER tires on it. Its normal for Germans to buy a second set of winter wheels.

Most Germans do not care to show their "neighbors" how much money they can afford to spend on a car. Yes, the rear model badging/emblems is a no cost (delete) option. Most do not take their car with the model number/badging.

IF your neighbors (still)want to know what model type your car is... they have to know exhaust type(s) and brake rotor sizes - then they can figure out which model you bought!

Of course then there are some Germans who delete the emblems but then (pay extra) at the DMV(KFZ) for individual license plate numbers to reflect the car type. ie: a 335i car would have XX-XX-335 in the tag. lol
