Well...the new Sonata is better IMHO than an Impala or Malibu...

so...it's not like Hyundai can't make better cars than Chevy...

I think chevy's been making the vette so long they're hesitant to change it, and its fallen behind the competition as a result, although they are doing better lately, so that in 2 or 3 more generations I may consider one

also GM doesn't know how to make interiors, I drove a friends new saturn vue for about 40 miles the other day and it was literally almost the worst car I'd ever driven, only 6000 miles and it was rattling, and the seats were uncomfortable, and there was all kinds of wind noise, and it wandered all over the freeway.

hyundai could at least bring some newness to the vette type of vehicle

haha good analogy. hyundais are getting pretty hot now though, I bet a Hyundai z06 would look sweet and have a nicer interior, just don't let them replace the engine

hyundai's actually coming up with one soon, they're attempting to make a 5 series size car with a v8 to arrive soon.

they're really trying hard to ditch the rep they currently have of being a joke

I voted no. I think Hyundai can one day make a car better than the Corvette, but it won't make a better Corvette. A Corvette by Hyundai is just not a Corvette anymore.

No, I just can't like a Hyundai. Mainly because I do not like the styling of their vehicles. Also, as stated by another member, I actually like the way Chevy is going with the Corvette. It's looking better and faster.

Huyndai is actually on its way to becoming the next Toyota. Everyone laughs at it just like they did when Toyota first entered the competition and all of a sudden it's sales have doubled, tripled and will soon surpass others.
