M3 Deposit Contract?

I'm looking to make a deposit on the e92 M3 (yeah, I know, I'm probably too late) but was wondering what type of confirmation folks are getting from their dealers after making a deposit that spells out MSRP pricing, refundability of their deposit etc. What should I be asking the dealer to write up for me? Or is there some sort of standard for that dealers provide to customers who put down deposits for yet to be released vehicles?

Thanks!

KT

I depends on the individual dealer. Some are taking deposits @ MSRP but likely have big waiting lists, and others are not taking deposits, but are selling them at "Market Value" which if you ask some of the folks in CA, is crazy high.

If you are interested, I'm selling my #2 spot in Denver.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I'm in CA (bay area) and am very familiar with the markup that a lot of dealers put on high demand vehicles. I won't be paying over MSRP for this car. Thanks for the offer for your spot but I'm not interested in buying a spot either. I called several dealers outside of CA yesterday and some have good spots still available.

What I'd really like to know though is what details the deposit contract contains? Since you have one in hand, can you answer me that question?

Thanks!

KT

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the waiting list for that or the sedan.
