How many of you run ur car with no front plate in the tri state or in NY

Juss wondering how many people around this area run their car with no front plate, excluding states like pa that dont have one...

I don't, I think it just ruins the look of the front end of the car. I was told that Connecticut is thinking about ditching the front plate to save the state some money.

Ny should go that route the new yellow plate is horrendous, I agree with u about ruining the look of the front of the car, I run no plate 90% of the time but in NYC u get parking tickets right away if u park with out it so I had to get a tow hook plate holder for when I park in the city, but I'll never drive with it, the bridge and tunnel guys love to stop u for no plate also, that and my windshield tint

No front plates. No tints. Just clean. Haven't gotten messed with. On my previous car I had no front plates AND tints... forget it, I got a ticket every other week.

I support the ditching of the front Connecticut license plate.

no front plate and tints. got pulled over total of 3 times in 2 years. one let go one dismissed and one county cop who pulled me over in my gym parking lot nd got em for tints and plate only then proceeded to circle the parking lot for hours gettin anyone he could with tints or supid infractions...dickhead cops man

i'm always in the 5 boroughs, so even if cops don't pull me over, the traffic cops will get me wherever i park.

I tried it but got two tickets in one month for it , those traffic cops like to give them out a lot

Parking any where in NYC with no plate will get u a ticket right away, but i meant driving around, I've been ticked too for parking in the boroughs with no front plate ( one in the bx n one in manhattan) but I've only been stopped once while driving and that was at midtown tunnel, long island isnt bad never got any tickets driving or parked in Nassau or Suffolk

no plate, never been pulled over. as soon as i took it off i noticed at least 50% of the cars on the road dont have one even tho right now its required in ct. nobody seems to care

Yes, in the form of "the sky is different tints of blue". But you have tint on your windows and your windows are tinted. Notice the windows are plural because you have an area of tint, not tints.

Tow plate... i know a lot of members don't like the look but that's the only way. You will get pulled over sooner or later if not you will get one by the parking meter.

fair enough, but it's so widely used that it's pretty much unavoidable. no one is gonna say "my next mod is gonna be tint" any time soon

no front plate for a year, only one ticket while parked on a busy main road. Pulled over once for plate but I believed I was profiled and they wanted to use that as an excuse to catch me riding dirty. Cop asked me about the plate, I said I had an accident and just had the bumper painted and had to order a new mount, showed her the bent up plate that I keep under my floor mat and she decided to give me a tint ticket. Got pulled over one other time for not signaling, let me go after yelling at me, no mention of the plate.

I dont think I'll ever use a front plate again, on any car...no plate changes the look completely

No, never been pulled over for it only got ticket while being parked !! I always take it off when I go to meets , cuz I use 3m tape to put it on so no holes lol

no front plate 35% tintS and a lot of tickets. LOL
I feel i depends on how your car looks, if it looks good u will get pulled over if not very seldom will they mess with you... BTW they have a motorized plate for the front that comes from under the front bumper so no holes....

Any good places to get a skid plate for our cars ?

Also, def sucks being in NYC seeing how I park in the city 5x a week, and would be getting no front plate parking tickets every single day.

I kinda like the yellow front plate, looks good when the angels are on.
