Red face Sold my 335xi. Might be in a C6 today.

Her new owner picked her up this morning. Bittersweet as I really enjoyed the car. Best daily driver out there IMO. Now you're asking why I sold it then. Because I haven't shaken the urge to own a Vette in years. May as well just get it out of my system. I will probably sell it in 6-12 months like 99% of my cars anyway.

I actually found a 11k mi 2007 C6 3LT Corvette this morning. Worked out the price & going to see, and hopefully, buy it this afternoon.

Here is the BMW. The Vette is below. Don't be surprised if I end up in another 335.

Lol good luck! I had an 08 328xi for a year and a half, then an 08 4lt z51 for 6 months before going to my current 11 335xi. You'll be back! Vettes are fun but night and day different cars. The harsh ride and lackluster interior along with less steering feel wore me out. Fun to drive hard, but not very often or for any distance. Also, interestingly enough at high speeds as in over 100mph, the BMW feels tremendously more planted and secure.

I love my C6... its a sick obsession.

People give me a "NOT Z06 OMGWTF" all the time. I did heads, cam, fast102, longtubes, stall and a gear and it is pretty stupid quick.
Ziominix is right. On his points, he forgot to mention how addicted torque is.

Vette coupe is prolly only a few thosand more, whereas Z06 is most likely more than 10-12 grand more. Why even get used with this economy....sick deals on new.

I may as well give up. Every car I go look at ends up being not as described. Is it me or did car dealers become even bigger jerkoffs over the last year or so. Never have I gone to see so many cars that they blatantly lied to me about.

1 wheel was curbed, a fairly large area of spiderwebbing paint & a badly touched up scratch on the side near the deck lid, front bumper was not properly installed & had a huge gap at the headlight & the door handle area inside the car was scratched to hell. Looked much worse than something a fingernail would do. What a pile for an 11k mile car.

Driving the beater till I find something. At this rate, for another 5 years.

Do not do business with Superior Chevrolet in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Apples to oranges. One is a quick luxury car & the other is a sports car. They both do their jobs very well, but they are both very different jobs.

335 is the perfect DD. Vette is an excellent toy. I want a toy not a DD this time.

I'm shopping for a C6Z, base C6 or C5Z. Whichever I find the right deal/car on first is what I buy.
