In short, yes, it is known that some of the ebay M3 reps are good quality. I know there's a member on this forum that has this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-07-08-09-...ht_5703wt_1396

I will be ordering mine in a few weeks.

what about the windshield washers what do i do with those? this is the EXACT one he baught? do you think i would be able to get the carbon fiber lips from the vendors on here and have it fit EXACT? i just really want to know if these ebay guys are sourcing from the same place as vendors on this site. in that case there price is better but i dont want to take a risk. any info u have please share. im mainly worried about the lip if its going to fit. thanks man.

I bought mine off ebay, perfect fitment. Just make sure its polyurethane or polypropylene and not that duraflex crap. But I've had mine about 6 months and no problems did foglight delete and retrofit m3 ducts.

lol. OP, I don't think many of the members who have responded understand what you're really asking.

Supposedly, the m3 bumpers that most* of the vendors on this forum sell is the same bumper that you'll find on ebay, and I think a lot of members have gone with the ebay version. as you can see from the responses above, it's fitment is actually very good. I wouldn't bet on that and buy one of the m3 bumpers from ebay and end up buying a lip that doesn't fit, though. There are painted m3 rep front bumper + lip combos on ebay for sale every once in a while. You might want to wait and check that out, if anything. Hope that helps.

^

He has a point it isn't like the sponsors on here re-invented the bumper they just sourced them from the same shop/place in Taiwan

dont forget that you are gonna have to pay to have the m3 bumper prepped and primed... even though they say they come ready to paint they do not and i had to pay an extra 280 bucks to prep which brings the price much closer to an mtech

I have had 2 M3 reps, never had to pay extra for prep. Paid $300 for paint each.

I think when you pay a shop for "paint" it includes the prep work. I think Mod B just means it's not like painted another color that the body shop has to scrape off and then paint.

yeah i know, i was perturbed by that but spoke to a close friend who works at a high end tuning shop who said that the cleaning process described by my shop sounded fine, they also baked the bumper twice prior to painting it to pull out oils...

the bumpers come from ebay raw, and m3rep and anyone else selling them, raw, not ready to paint if you want a quality product. My bumper came out awesome but only after 280 bucks of prep plus the paint and install which thankfully was covered

Mine fit perfectly as well! I did not do cf splitters or anything, the bulb size is different if you get the fogs, just splice them in for 9006

M3 Rep Bumper

I have the same dilemma, weather to go with an mtech or M3 Rep or find a used Jet Black pre Lci oem bumper for my jet black 2006 330i. I did find this vendor JGMods out of San Fran that sells this E90, E92, E93 M3 style front bumper $399.00 (full bumper kit) , Paint service $400.00 , shipping to Denver $120.00. so $920.00 total ready for install. Ive been so close on this one for 2 weeks. Local shops are quoting me $450.00 - $600.00 to strip, prime, and paint my exsisting oem bumper. I cant deal with these Rocky Mountain High prices !thats why a vendor that offers the painting service is huge with me. What do you guys think?
