Carry a spare?
For those of you that are running without RFT's do you carry a spare? I was looking at realoem.com and was thinking about buying a spare tire kit for my car; since I'm buying some 19's soon. Would the spare tire kit for an M3 work?

I carry a spare. I took an old RFT, put it on a 99 dollar wheel and ratchet strapped it down in back. Full sized spare for far less than the spare kit costs from tischer. It does sadly take out most of my useable space in teh trunk if I want to carry something much more than just luggage for myself .

I don't carry a spare. However, I have the four original wheels and tires (still mounted) at home in case I'm relatively close by. If I'm far away, I rely on BMW assist. After all, I paid for it!

Well that sucks, I love that compartment. To add to the topic, though, I am on Conti DWs and don't carry a spare either. I just have a little pump that runs off the 12v power and a can of fix a flat.

I also carry a Slime kit. It's actually a Roadside Emergency kit as it comes with a first aid kit and jumper cables as well as the air compressor and tire patch stuff. It all fits in a soft case that has velcro on the outside so it sticks to the trunk carpeting and doesn't slide around.
This is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/Slime-50051-Al...650327&sr=8-37
