A little this and a little that...

Newest notions:

First I bought some red fabric dye to color the "Z4" embroidered on my BMW floormats. They were originally grey. Then I dyed the stitching on my Roadster Solutions shoulder belt pads.

After all that I decided to paint another panel clip (like the ones used to cover licence plate holder bumper holes), only instead of the deck lid key hole (already done), I would cover the door key hole.

Here are the pics:

It rained for 8 days straight in May, 18 days total. I prepared for and attended Club meetings and GTG's, instructed at Street Survival and co-hosted a Detailing TechSession AND had 4 runs at SCCA autocross. I don't relax much.

What about your English side? Doesn't that contribute to the colour of your blood at all?

What the heck is BRG? British Green? And if so, why does British Green have BRG as an acronym and not just BG? Inquiring minds want to know.

Umm, it's the dominant color of British race cars to this day - hence the name! Swing by Wikipedia for a quick tutorial.

You're right. I saw 3 British race cars on the way home yesterday. What was I thinking?

Honestly? You were thinking "Ah, British Racing Green!! Now there is a great colour for a British race car." But in your excitment you just partitioned it back into that small pocket of neurons that doesn't get much action. Sooooo, now you know, errrr, remember.

Growing up.... we had half a dozen different British sports cars in the family at different times.

....funny, but not a BRG in the lot.

I'm going to do the trunk keyhole, but I use the door key a lot.

I take it you never use the key to raise the top?

It's a small but visable 'mod'. I like it. 'Course, I love red! I like the keyhole idea too...pretty neat I think, for not being a mod freak.

I haven't used the key hole in the door or trunk for anything. Of course it would be no problem if I had to seeing that these can be removed without any difficulty. I use my remote to put the top down but not through the key hole.
