Stolen Double Stick Aero Add-ons ???
Ok, So when I had my Integra. (My First Car!) One of the things I did to it was fog lights. I installed them in a way that it would take a long time to take off. Well one day I came out to my car after school. Someone tried to cut through the bumper to get the fogs off. They did not get them... (that almost made it worse!)
Another thing I did on that car was clear front blinkers. These just screw in from the out side. I came out one day, Poof, they were gone... Now I lived in a nice area. BMW's, Merc's, you know, nice cars parked at the school... So This brings me to my question. Does anyone worry that their OEM Lip, or CF sills, or CF splitters, Rear trunk lips. A lot of these mods are just stuck on with double sided tape. The OEM Front Lip is the one I am worried about most. I like this add-on, as you don't have to change the whole bumper to make it look soo much more aggressive. But it is only held on by a few screws and some tape. I am worried that I will come out to my car some day and the lip will be ripped off. Anyone share my worries? Definitive |

Well, one being...you had an Integra. Hondas are solely stolen because a lot of kids own them, making the market very marketable.
I am not worried at all. It's not like you can take them out within seconds. The glue takes a lot of strength and effort to get off. |

if you're worried about that, you should worry about the OEM sideskirt as well, it's only held on by clips, so a passerby can just go by your car and rip it off. Same with the finishing rods on the lower part of the bumper, someone can just go and rip them out as well. Oh and the chrome or black window strip on the doors, the straight piece, you can rip it out too.
Is it possible to take them off? yes, is it likely? maybe. Are you paranoid? yes definitely.

Negative.
I think it is more likely that you will be vandalized just for having a BMW than to have your mods stolen by someone that wants your parts.

Crafty and Shady!!!
I havent had any of these mods on my past few cars, so I might have just been the car... I do agree that Modded Civic's and Integra's are always targets. For everyone else giving me a hard time: :finger: It must have taken these guys 20 minutes to cut as deep into my bumper as they did... so I could definitly see some shady dude in Oxnard ripping a lip off in 5 minutes... Anyway, I was just asking for opinions... not a bunch of sarcasm... Peace, Definitive |

I know a guy who found his E92 in a bathtub of ice cubes and the kidney grills were missing.
