E93 rear cupholders????

Does anyone know how to use their rear cupholders??

Call me an idoit but there's no way that you can put a cup in there. Maybe a book??
I can't figure it out.

Don't know how they test this stuff. Is it the same in the e92, I wonder?
BTW, if you do spread them apart and shove a cup/can/bottle in, it's held pretty firmly. I find the front cupholders allow a lot of spilling from *$ cups. I now have to get a flat top lid.

No the e92 cupholders are not like this. I put a mcD's cup in there and if got crushed!!!
