Thumbs up Replacing Driver's side door pocket

I don't know how these scratches got there ( wife's nails maybe) but I now have to fix it.
Can you guys recommend what to do about this?

I think it must have been a bracelet or something.

Been there already. The drawing does not have a part number for just the pocket.

The dealer had to replace the whole side of the door to fix my scratches. now I keep a small towel over the grab handle to avoid future scrathes

If the piece is solid plastic with the color moulded in you may be able to get rid of the scratches by wet sanding and then going to finer and finer grit and eventually steel wool. You can then use armoral to get the shine back.
I would definitely try this on an area that can't be seen first.

She wouldn't happen to drive around with a little Rat dog in the car does she?

Thinking about the way those scratches are positioned a watch or bracelet could do it, but it almost reminds me a pet scratches.

dude, you gotta take better care of your car man, the trim looks all scratched up too!

I'm afraid the only remedy is to replace the door trim, I don't know if your dealer will be nice enough to replace it under warranty though, give it a try regardless

That is indeed assy but at least it was covered. Looks like black is a safer color to go with as far as interiors are concerned.
