Will anyone be at Santa Pod this weekend?

Going to Santa Pod this weekend with AON and the other halfs Astra for The Fast Show.

Just wondering if any of you will be in attendance as I've seen the Pod mentioned on here several times?!

After seeing the weather report, I'm seriously thinking about this on Saturday too. There should be decent heat in the track.

Popped over for a look. Didn't take part, far too many people queuing for my liking.

My god, there were some sights, I think I must have easily been double the average age.
Fights are bound to kick off later after a few shandys.

How about Sat 14th April?
There's an RS owners club event on the Sunday, so shouldn't be too busy.

Saw ciomas there in this lovely looking 335i with most mods you can think of. I saw him running at 13.7. He could do much better with his Quaife LSD, but I thought his tyres looked a bit low on tread, also maybe look at some higher rev launches (it would be interesting to know what his 60ft times were). Hope to see you there again ciomas

It was great meeting you Boz. I was quite surprised you spotted me like that best run of the day was 13.5- proved to be enough to outrun an e60 m5 Heh, youre absolutely right, those tyres need replacing pronto.

Would be good to know the terminal speed as well bud? I would expect somewhere around 112-115mph with your mods on a good day..

Sounds like a plan mate. Will confirm nearer the date, but haven't got anything planned atm that I know of.

Anyone else game?

I watched the M5 and he was going around 14.0s. For me, he wasn't launching aggressively enough, also no pre-spin in the trough.

Unfortunately, they've changed the system, you no longer get a slip showing both lanes, you just get your own timesheet.

But even a poor driver in an M5, should be in the 13's piss. He must have been wank.

Great to meet you too, hope to see you there again.

I recorded one of your runs. I love the "stealth" look of your car. All black doesn't normally work ,but this looks great

I have marked it as unlisted, so only people with this link can see it.

p.s. That was your car popping when you changed gear, sounded better on the day.
