ED Question on 2013 Model

Thanks to wealth of information at this forum, I am making my first BMW purchase

. I placed an order for 328 base, Imperial Blue, ZPP, ZCW with ED pickup date for the end of July.
As I understand, 2013 production starts in July. So, is there a chance I can get 2013 model ? I checked with my CA and she wasn't sure.

Highly doubt it as the production starts in July and no way it would be ready by the time you pick up for ED.

I believe first 2013 deliveries are in September.

It will definitely be a 2012 with July ED. I'm doing ED of my 328 on 8/9 and it will also be a 2012. First available date for 2013 F30 for ED will be Sept 10.

Thanks for the information... did you get this info from BMW USA/your dealership? Looks like my July trip will be for a 2012 :P

Received the information directly from the ED Department in New Jersey upon requesting the first available ED date for xDrive. Nothing has changed as far as I know. I'm still confirmed for 8/9 pick up at the Welt.

I think it will be a 2012. I picked up my ED in August and it was the previous year's model.

Were you able to order a 2013 xDrive already? I dont see available on bmwusa.com yet. How much will be the base price on a 328 xdrive?

No, can't order an xDrive until the Ordering Guide has been released (estimated by May), so I had to make do with the non-Xdrive 328i in order to meet my August ED date. If I'd wanted to wait for the xDrive, the first available ED date would have been 9/10 and would have been a 2013 model.
