H8 LED Bulbs Question
Hey all, i know there are various other threads dicussing angel eyes, we have the lux, OSS, AiB, etc...
My question is can we not just buy a cheap h8 led bulb from ebay or anywhere else and get the same output as a lux (not comparing to oss)? I know the lux has 4 leds but there are led h8 bulbs out that have several leds ie 102/68?..check these links on ebay...any complications of using these versus the Lux, AiB, others? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2x-Car-White-...item20be139c77 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/7-5W-Super-Br...item2568d4fcf8 |

the amount of leds there are doenst mean the brighter the bulb is.
you have to look at the type of led, lux uses CREE led's (i think) and they are the brightest types of leds i know of you also have to look at error codes. those bulbs will definitely throw angel eye malfunction errors |

1 simple rule with LED upgrades for angel eyes: you don't get what you don't pay for, whether it be quality, color, brightness, or overall life. Also, depending on what year your car is, you may get error codes with the cheaper units. I have an early 2007 and have no errors with LUX H8s, where I did get them with the City Vision units.
