An Oldie but Goodie!!

I like to watch this about once a month, in the states you don't have roads like these to really feel comfortable running the Z4. Folks from Z4um will remember Mark, this is his 3.0i running flat out on the Autobahn at an indicated 160-165 MPH! The sound generator sounds really nice at those speeds/rpms!!! Enjoy!

It actually doesn't look like he's going that fast though. Sounds great!

Oh...and by the way...that autobahn wasn't too far from where I lived...it's awesome for hauling ass...hardly ever any traffic...lots of straights and no limit. Beautiful.

wow thats wierd its like whats happening in the car aint in sync with outside lol speedo says fast.. the white lines hes passin says slow

good sound tho

i'll make a wee vid for you guys in a week and a bit as i'll be on the autobahn on the 22nd on my way 2 the Ring :rocks:

Maybe the dividing lines are spaced really far apart on the autobahn. Confirm, Dammmittt.

Yeah...the lines are much longer and a little bit more spread apart...you don't really notice how fast you are going unless you look out the side and watch the trees and guard rails fly by.

To me it didn't seem like he was goin all that fast either tho. I've done 168 on that road at night...that's f'ing scary, albeit disappointing when the governor kicks on.

Its legit, Mark is stationed in Germany and drives the autobahn on a regular basis in his Z4, pay more attention to the distance that he is covering versus the lines on the road, most non professional movie cameras cannot capture the depth-of-field required to give you a real sense of traveling that fast. As far as the sound, the 3.0i has a much deeper sound than the ///M Z4 despite on having 2 tail pipes (i don't know why)

No one's questioning whether it's legit or not. We're just surprised that it doesn't appear that fast on camera. Must be an optical illusion thing.

Is he in Wiesbaden or K-Town...A63 runs in between the 2. I was in Wiesbaden for almost 2 years.

WoW!!

Fastest I've gone was 230km/h in the dealer's demo car... with the salesman next to me!!
He asked me how fast I was going and I sheepishly said 230... he simply shrugged and said that's it? It feels like 180...

Fastest I've gone in my own car is 190...

o.O

Must remove.... speed limiter.... O.o

Not saying you have to use it just because its available.
