How old are you that you think those are classic BMW's?

My answer would be either a 3.0CSL

or the original 328.

Then he should have used the term "old" rather than classic.

On another note, who turbocharged the E28 535is?

Was the turbocharged E28 (533i?) an official US model, I thought it was a limited release euro model?

I consider a car to be a classic if it has a cult following, and is generally 15 years old or older.

All of the cars that I mentioned, meet both standards. Granted, I'm rather young, but I'm sure that I'll keep the standards for quite a while.

I purposely left of the E9 because it's extremely difficult to find a well kept example for less than $35k, and the 2002 is out because I'm a wiener, and need AC.

As for the 535is, check out www.turbochargingdynamics.com
