Running your AE as DRL with Depo

Hi

I was wondering if you can run your AE as DRL with aftermarket Depo without coding? How about disable DRL?

Thank you.

But then why is it used in other contexts? Like this describing an exhaust -

I guess it doesn't matter which ones you have. It is alot of wiring to get them error free without coding but here goes:

1.Disable daytime lights thru the stalk menu
2. Cut power wires to angel eyes. Wire the bulb sides to an ignition source(cig lighter)
3. Now the car side of the cut wire is up to. Either run dummy light bulbs or run some resistors or you'll get an error.

Its alot of work but it can be done. I also have my AEs as welcome lights and they dim down when the headlights are on but thats a whole different story.

Hope this helps
