Unhappy My car got a boo-boo

My car got a boo boo today. I could go on and on with reasons as to why but ultimately its my fault. I can say how I am short and can't see and the pole is a dark color and ... .... but yeah it happens. So I'm going for an estimate soon. Until then, Hello Kitty will keep her together.

haha, only girls can do cute things like that.

Nikki, it doesn't look that bad, the bumper, they can bang it back in place, and the rear 1/4 panel, it looks like they'll be able to do a paintless dent removal on that sucker (fingers crossed, 'cuz if not, it's gonna cost $$ to replace that)

New String of Concrete Attacks!

No worries, there has been a rash of concrete barriers attacking cars in the Boston area. The authorities don't know what has caused this recent upsurge in violence, it is baffling to say the least.

Attacks often happen at night and the favorite victims are cars with tinted windows with shorter drivers. While they often stalk underground garages, they have been known to ambush cars and trucks on the highway.

Very dangerous.... Here is a video of a captured attacker after being drugged and interogated by the FBI, they agreed to demonstrate how they attack.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...41031794065093

Nikki, if you see another attack, please call Quantico directly.

Ouch that sucks! Just remember when you get your next BMW to get PDC. That would of warned you of that sneaky pole popping up behind your car.

Does anyone know if that fender piece that goes up over the doors/windows can be replaced? What is it called?

Yeah my dad said I didn't need PDC. I guess I did fine without it for almost 2 years.

The rear quarter panel? the one you damaged?

It looks like they can pull the dent out and repaint it...no need to replace...not even sure if you can...it might be welded to the body of the car...

Yeah that's what I thought. It needs to be resurfaced or something where it meets the bumper it is like shreaded. I guess they can sand it down and fill it in and paint it. Sounds like a lot of work.

Love the plasters though.

If the metalwork is damaged as you say the it sounds like a fill and paint job.

I've got a nice dent at the bottom of the 'c' pillar thanks to some oiks who threw a beercan at the car. Because they can't get to the inside because of the roof stiffening the quote for repair (despite no paint damage) was an eye watering $1300.

It's gonna be interesting how they're gonna match the paint...

silver is one of the hardest color to match...and esp. the quarter panel, you'll have to blend it in...
