Does anyone have a 328i with rear fog lights?

We just got a car with rear fog lights, is this a US car or not? Where the front fog light switch is, under it is a rear fog light switch, and on the left of the headlight switch is an intensity switch for the rear fog lights. The rear fog lights are the red running lights on the inside of the tail light.

I don't believe that wheel to the left is to adjust the intensity of the rear fogs, its usually found on halogen equipped cars for levelling. Sounds like a production snafu, I believe there was one e90poster who found the euro switch in his ED car.

All E90's have rear fog lights... They perform double-duties with the emergency brake lights that light up under hard braking.... It's just that US cars don't have the switch to turn them on.
A few other US owners have found that their car did come with the switch accidentally.

I remember reading that the wheel was to adjust the angle of the Xenon's in EU

they don't seem very bright, maybe its the sun or something.

I guess you accidentally (and luckily) got a euro switch.

Actually, from what I remember on a previous post...people in the US can purchase the switch and therefore have the rear fog light functionality. The fog lights are there, we just don't have the switch to enable them. Some people also modified the existing switch to enable the rear fogs. Do a search, you might find the thread if you're interested.

Wow, you're lucky to have that on there. Mine doesn't have the switch nor the dial to the left.
