ACS springs installed on a 535xi without Adaptive drive or EDC?
Has anyone installed ACS springs on a 535xi that doesn’t have Adaptive drive or EDC (Dynamic Damping Control)? The reason I asked is to see if the install of ACS springs improves the ride and cornering of the car over the stock springs. I am only interested in improving the handling of the car not necessarily lowering the car. I have searched the site and everyone who has installed ACS springs either have M-sport with Adaptive drive and EDC or a 550i or 550xi.
Thanks! |

I do not have adaptive drive or EDC. I installed the ACS springs and the car feels firmer, but still comfortable. The handling has improved in the sense the the firmness of the suspension now feels more BMW than Buick (as it did stock). It was worth every penny.
I hope this helps.
