Dinan stage 2 XI re-uses front shocks

So.. all XI models using the Dinan stage 2 suspension kit re-use the front shocks, but pair them with Eibach Pro-kit springs.

Would most people here frown upon this, or does Dinan know something we don't?

They use Koni for the rear...

Thoughts?

Where did you hear Dinan uses Eibach pro kit springs?
Their kit doesn't include the Koni front struts cuz until recently Koni didn't offer struts for the xi. You can ask Dinan if they plan to include the Koni front struts in the future.

Whoops, yeah, no mention of eibach, my mistake. But Dinan must think its a long term, viable solution.

IDK. Don't really pay attention to xi susp. Maybe post in the xi forum?

Garage List
Generally changing the springs to something more aggressive without changing the shocks is frowned upon, yes. But the Dinan Stage 2 for XI is only a 1/2" drop in the front so the springs can't be that aggressive. E.g. marginally higher shock wear vs. stock springs. I'd say it is OK.
