Cobb AP code reset magic

Hello!

Just posting this message for something pretty obvious that I managed to overlook.
If you have more than one Bmw (in my case another 3 series) you can reset error codes although your car is not married to the AP. Since I have used the 3 vins on my Bt cable, and didn't have Inpa installed I thought I should give it a shot, since a friend wanted to get rid of a code.
I really didn't feel like installing Inpa and get it going so I just tried it on my wifes car, and the AP clears error codes just perfect.

A lot easier for clearing codes, since you don't have to carry a laptop around!

The COBB AccessPORT will allow for you to read and clear your car for codes. It's definitely a feature that is great and extremely useful. For those of you who aren't sure how to do so, you can check out the video below for a tutorial!

With the BT you can reset service intervalls as well, that you can't do with the AP. You could also download INPA and NCSExpert and buy an Ebay-cable, that's cheaper than the Bavtech but also a lot more work to get going.

To reset codes, I prefer the AP since it's a lot easier to transport than a laptop, which you would need for the BT as well as the Ebay cable.

The AP also works to reset 5 series codes! At least Airbag codes.

True, but you can reset them by using the odometer and BC stalk.
