Question about Interior Size
I am 6'3 so interior size and leg space is a big issue to me. I currently own a CTS and I am looking to get another car because I feel too confined. I really like the styling of the new 335 coupe and was wondering on how big the actual interior is? if it is too small I will probably go for the new X5.

It's quite big. I'm 6'1" and this has been the first car where I can actually put the seat back far enough that I can have my legs all the way stretched out and more. Plenty of headroom in the car as well. No worries about keepin' the dew intact.

At 6'1" I find that I have some head room left, 6'3'' could be cutting it a little close depending on how you sit. If you like to be all laid back hood rat style you are good to go, if you like to sit in a proper driving position I dunno, could be a little tight.
Best part though IS that the seats have a lot of travel and steering wheel has a lot of telescope to it. Should be able to find a comfortable position no problem.

guys, don't forget though, the OP mentioned that in a CTS, he feels confined already, I doubt he'll feel less confined in the E92 335.

To the original poster - you just have to try the car on and pay attention to whether the car has the sport package or not, etc. I'm 6'4", with long legs so leg room is always my biggest issue as opposed to headroom. I found the 3 series to be one of the best cars out there for fit, regardless of car size or price. It also has enough headroom for me to drive in a upright position with a helmet on, which I considered important. If you haven't already done so, you might want to try a light colored interior if you're feeling constrained. I think they "feel" a little bigger inside.

I'm a legit 6'7" and test drove/sat in several 335s today and even I fit in them. Just put the seat all the way down and back as far as necessary; you'll be fine. For a point of comparison, I was noticably more comfortable in the 335 than the Infiniti G35, which is supposed to be bigger.

Yeah, My bad, Tell you though coming from the RX-8 the coupe feels like a cavern... I love it, and I do not find it confining but it sounds like the OP is well on the road to X5 ownership.

that was funny
in all seriousness, best for you is to test drive it yourself, everyone's got a different upper torso vs legs ratio, so even two people at the same height, the comfort level would be different sitting in a particular car model Quote:

I'm 6'4" and I have more room in the 335 (which I picked up Thursday BTW) then I did in my G35. I don't think there should be too much of a problem....wether you sit "hood rat" style or properly.
