All good things must come to an end...
Hey folks....
My car is basically sold. Once she's gone, I'll be pretty much a forum ghost. I won't be around much. It's been great being here, it's been like a home to me. I appreciate all (well most) of you, and thanks for the good times. Also, I'm changing jobs, so I won't be a BMW tech anymore. My usefulness here has run it's course. See ya. =) |

Why did you sell, and I assume it has something to do with changing jobs?
Best of luck, no need to be a stranger, but what happened?

Are you still going to move as well? I wish you the best in life, Matt. It's been a pleasure talking to you and having you work on the car. Now I have to go find another tech from the dealership that can hold candles to you...definitely will be a hard task. |

I'm probably not moving, at least not for a while....
selling the car because I'm drowning in the American Dream (debt), and changing jobs because I'm tired or wrenching. =) |

I haven't got another job yet, I'm just in the market, I'll be at the dealer for a little while longer.
And I've pretty much ALREADY stopped doing side jobs, just because the liability is too high. I can't afford to fix things that can go wrong while I work on the car! |

Best of luck Matt, it was great meeting you back in Dec. I was actually wondering where you've been; I don't think I've caught too many of your posts as of late and then I see this post!

We should have a farewell dinner or gathering! Something to help him kick off his new career and show everyone how much of a help he's been to this community.

^You can search for that..it's been covered multiple times. Basically you need to buy a DVD player and put it somewhere and you will be able to view movies on your screen.

I'll lift a pint of Old P in your honour tonight at the pub.
* That'd be "Old Peculiar", a fine Yorkshire ale.
