Dimisa Tips / Perf Diffuser

Sorry for the low quality cell phone pics

Tips: Dimisa 4" / angled / black powder coat

Appearance: one tip had some junk built up from the powder coat, missing coverage inside of the tips, outside of tips looked good and thick

Install: little over an hour, lots of modification necessary to get them to fit. Not sure if the 335d requires different tips - I bought these brand new from another member who ordered for a 335i. The inlet had to be expanded and then reworked to fit around the angle of the original pipes so they fit centered.

Final result: centered nicely in the cutouts for the OE Performance Diffuser. Little dirty from all the welding. Glad I went with 4" vs the smaller 3.8" or 3.5". Definitely not overkill.

Advice: take a rattle can (matte black) and spray the exhaust piping before installing the tips. As you can see in this picture, and a lot of others I searched, you can clearly see OE shiny metal piping within the Dimisa tips. Not as noticeable when you walk by, but I'm pretty sure this is visible from the car driving behind you. Also, cut the tips farther back, closer to the muffler so this effect is minimized. We spent a lot of time adjusting to exactly where I wanted the tips to stick out. I have seen too many where they stick way too far out. I wanted them to poke just enough to clear the diffuser lip. This took a lot of modifying to get just right, but I'm happy with the quality and outcome.

*will take a better picture when the car is on the ground*

Looks good man Personally I like the black tips rather than stainless or polished chrome.
