Spot the deliberate mistake...

So, I was wondering why my headlights were pointing almost straight down after a recent (unrelated) warranty repair. I took a look at the ride height sensor on the front suspension arm and found this... Perhaps they thought my car's suspension articulates back and forth rather than up and down?

The impact marks are just the compression fittings for the aluminium tube on to the plastic. It has, however, been fitted back-to-front....

I say unrelated, but they would have had to remove it during the repair, so I'm pretty sure they've just fitted it back incorrectly rather than it being an impact. PITA to turn it the right way around too - I couldn't get the ball joints at either end to release, so had to take the metal clip off the suspension arm. I ended up having to remove the wheel, then it still took nearly 15 minutes to get the clip to actually secure...

I had to do that on my e46 - two crossed screwdrivers and some washing-up liquid can get the ball to split. Still, good fix to do yourself and poor form on the "technician" to fit it so obviously wrong.
