keeping the temp down - oil coolers

just wondering who running a after market oil cooler for the n54 335. im looking in to getting one but there a pretty penny. what kind are you running and how much of hole did it put in your pocket when its all said and done. thankss

i feel the temperature stays at 220-230 degrees. i have the oem oil cooler and it works just fine. do not leave your car on while its already warm parked. heat soak and your temp will go higher.

OP do you even have an OEM oil cooler? If not then your gonna pay out your ass for an aftermarket one because they have to make the brackets and run the oil lines etc.

No OEM oil cooler. Car was made before 3/07. Running the oil lines is no problem the kitsare real straight toward. Think might try a universal one out

overpriced as hell..but thats ar design. they do a hella lot of research, universal mishimoto works great btw.

damn you paid alot for that, the retro fits a extra 500. glad to hear its working for you.

i was looking into those mishimoto would save alot of money there. then all i would need is the proper housing where the filter is

go for it, its not cheap but the difference from not having one to having was def noticeable
