European members?

A lot of Dutch people lately and some from Spain, France and Belgium, but also from Eastern Europe.
This is my ninth consecutive BMW and after about 3200kms in 6 weeks, I love my new one.

Cheers

I'm from Germany and currently awaiting delivery of my 320d. The car has been produced already and is now awaiting delivery to my dealer. I will get it next Monday most likely.

I am a long time Audi-driver who is now changing to his first BMW. The better design of the 3series compared to the A4 and the better engine were the determining factors for me...

Can't wait!!!!!

Cheers

Ollie

Hi. I'm from the Netherlands and awaiting my first BMW 320i to be delivered next week.

Currently driving an audi a4 avant for 4 years now and I liked the looks and feel of the whole new 3 series compared to the slight facelift of the 2012 audi a4.

I expect much from the RWD and 50/50 weight balance. My audi has quite some wheel spin at the front especially at wet roads.

As i have a family with 2 kids space is an issue for me. I noticed that the new 3 series has improved cabin space compared to the previous one and now has plenty of room in its class compared to mercedes c and a4, especially in the back seat and trunk.

Looking forward to 25th of april, delivery day

Regards

Hello, from Netherlands...

My new F30 320i with automatic gear was delivered with the following styling/colors:
- jet black (schwarz II)
- sensatec interieur
- chrome window strips
- 17" styling 414.
- mist lamps
This is no line BMW, just a standard one with a list of options.

Here are some photos for the folks who wonder how Jet Black looks with a light interieur and some chrom accents on the standard no line new F30

Photos taken in Dutch Countrysite:

Hi everybody,

I just ordered my BMW 320i from BMW Luxembourg and will get it at the end of August (hopefully).

I have a question about order tracking. I know people who order their cars in the USA can track the order online but when I asked about this to my dealer, I was told that online tracking was not available.

What do you think? Is it just the BMW Luxembourg or is it more of a "European" bad luck?

Thanks,

Great! Which color is your 328i? Mine is mineral grey, luxury line. It looks awesome in the pictures, I hope it will be that way in real life too..

Did your dealer give you an order number by the way? Mine hasn't yet and it's bothering me a little..

Yes, Arnold Kontz. The sales representative told me that it is not available but I was expecting at least an order number of some sort. I won't be living in Luxembourg until the end of August and our communication is via e-mail. I transfered the down payment, she said they received it but hasn't confirmed that the order is placed yet. That's why I sent an inquiry to the BMW headquarters, asking about the normal procedure. Waiting for their response..

Great combination by the way, I'm sure it'll look stunning!

I'm from Denmark.

I took delivery of my 320d EDE in Imperial Blue Metallic on June 1st.

No extras, but I'm looking at adding cruise control and BT/USB to the car, as I really miss it.

We've had at least 1 BMW in the family for the last 10 years and a bunch of company cars as well. Currently we have 3 BMWs in the car park!

The 518i Touring has been my mothers since 1996 where I picked it up from the dealer and till this year, where I took ownership of it. It was one of the last new E34's sold in DK

Hi everybody! I am from the Netherlands as well.

I have driven 4 other 3-series before (E46/E90/E90LCI), some for a year or two, some for 4 years. I picked up my new lease car May 22, it's one of those SE 320's with an 8 speed automatic transmission that have that great tax/hp rate :-). The dealer already explained in advance, but I was really amazed by the quick shifting of this excellent piece of technology.

Some of the options I choose:
- Mineralgrau metallic
- 18" Styling 396
- Xenons
- Navi business
- Handle / Ambient lighting
- Loudspeaker system

After some weeks I decided to have the xenon lights adjusted, a little less decline. Now I am waiting for my ODB2 connector to change/enable some nice things like the ASS. I am also curious if the Sport Display (Torque and HP gauges) can be enabled somehow even without the wide display and no Sport Line.

I am from Norway and have just ordered a (F31) 320dA Touring Sport line. It is my 2nd BMW (its the first time I've had 2 cars from the same brand). I had a 318d Touring from 2008 to 2009.

Highlights from my cars equipment:

- Adaptive M Sport suspension
- Active sports steering
- Xenon
- Lumbar support (can't beleive it's not standard!)
- Visibility package (auto dimming mirror, rainsensor, foldable rear headrests, foglights etc.)
- Driver comfort package (cruisecontrol, PDC, Bluetooth/USB)
- Sun protection glass
- Sunblinds - rear side windows (for my dear little son )
- Aluminium interior with black accent
- Comfort access (probably going to add this...)

I went for the exterior colour Alpine White as I like the car in that color, plus I can spend more on other options

I will get the car in the end of november. I could get it sooner, but I will be abroad for 2 months, so no point in paying for a car before then.

This is how my interior will look:

@Mr Beach,

Nice interior. I'm curious to know how you think RWD will fare in the winter? Last time I was in Northern Norway a year back, I saw almost no BMWs (and very few Mercs) which I attributed to them being RWD (FWDs dominated, followed by 4WDs). Interested to know, as I plan on doing some driving tours in Norway when I get my BMW...

I have been driving my RWD 520d in northern Sweden during the snowy winter and I must say it works very well with good winter tires. Traction controls takes care of everything but the balance of the car is more important and makes it very stable on the snow.

Driving uphill I find RWD better than FWD because the pressure on the rear wheels increase and you get better traction.
