New To German Cars, not the forums
Hi all,
New to your community - name is Ryan and I am from Long Island originally but now reside in Hoboken. I currently own a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with 64K (insert pics or its not real joke) - I have them on my laptop back home and will be sure to post some. Anyways, unfortunately the time has come to step out of my raw-performance SUV (about 490 HP to the wheels) and step into an elegant 3-series. I will be looking to sell the Jeep as well - not sure on the price yet but looking to ask for low-mid 30s since the truck is immaculate with a variety of nice touches both visually and performance-based. Looking to step into a BMW 335 XI and looking to go used since the car is not a daily driver and will be a garage queen except for when I need to travel around Long Island or go skiing upstate. Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to learn more about these amazing machines. |

Thanks for the welcome! RedKev, yes it most definitely is....when I was looking for my SRT8 I researched for about 4 months before pulling the trigger...I do know that I would like to stick with AWD due to the inclement winters we can get here in New York...and now as for engines, need something that gets more than 10-12 MPG hahaha...but still like to have fun behind the wheel so I'm leaning primarily torwards the 335 as opposed to 328...

Awd is great it only pains me that BMW made them sit so high lol. In these days, where it's almost 5 bucks a gallon 10 mpg must def hurt, but I've heard the Srt8 and it's exhaust note is so the 328 is no slouch either but IMO I had to have the turbo lol This forum will help a-lot to help decide on your pick! Good Luck again dude |
