what oil do you use ?

hi fellas,
I need to change my oil in two weeks. I was using bmw high performance 5w-30 before, and I was burning about a quart over 3000 miles. Now I'm thinking of switching to castrol or mobile1. What do you guys use in your vehicles. Did you have any problems using bmw hp 5w-30 or is it just me ??

Careful with Mobil1, as i've heard they are not fully synthetic even though they claim to be.
I've never tried anything but BMW oil, but I'm tempted to try Redline's M-specific 10-60 oil...

I used to use amsoil in my cars and bikes. I've only used castrol while still under warranty. Anyone use amsoil?

BMW oil is a version of Castrol Syntec. In my experience, Bimmers drink Mobil1 faster than Syntec.
