Stupid answer for a stupid question. "Who would trade an E90 for an E60"??? Need to be a little more specific. E90 can be anything from a 2006 325 to a 2008 M3 and E60 could be anything from a 2004 525 to a 2008 M5. Would I trade my 335i straight up for a new M5? Yes. Would I trade it straight up for a 4 year old 525? No.

The guy with the E92 335i we programmed at work today traded in his 2006 530xi for a loaded 335i that came out to 53k...

My last car was an 06 550. I liked that car. I love my 335. The 5 series is just too big and doesn't handle nearly as well as the 3.

Yes, I realize that it was aimed at ejazbmw. My point was that ejazbmw just gave a stupid answer to a stupid question (just like I did). The question is pretty nonsensical if you ask me, and the OP doesn't appear too interested in the answers, since he hasn't been back.

We traded in our 04 E60 for an E90. Originally, I planned on getting another E60, but with different colors/engine/rims than the fiance had originally picked out (184 HP and 16" rims, that thing was killing me).
But after several trips to the local dealership to see some E60's they had in stock, I decided to take an E60 for a ride. That was on a Saturday. I read up on the E60 that Sunday, and bought it on Monday This car is soo much more fun. My buddy just dropped off his 525 at lease end two weeks ago, and replaced it with a 328 coupe he had ordered. He too says he is having much more fun with his new car. Both he and I have had several 5's each, dating back to the early nineties. So to answer your question; no, I wouldn't trade in my E90 for an E60 . But I'll tell ya, my 1990 535 was one HELL of a sled. Loved that car, maybe because it was my first BMW.

Great I appreciate everyone's answers. No I was more interested into 325i, 330's, 335 e90/e92 to a E60 545/550. I already knew everyone would trade for a m5.
