question about my new hood

i bought a brand new hood from mod bargains(not my first time and deff not my last time). its unpainted and it needs to be put on and painted. i got one quote from one guy for $450 for paint job and putting it on. am i getting ripped off? do u guys know any where i can get it done for cheaper. i haven't gotten it done so I'm just trying to see my best options.

please be easy with me.

450 seems like a really good deal, if its OEM paint. put the hood on yourself, its easy peasy.

Thanks man and I got no idea on how to take off a hood and put one on lol but thanks again for ur help

if the guy is gonna use good paint and mount it i say go for it, aligning aftermarket hoods is a pain in the a$$ and for that price with paint, you can just drop off and pick up your car and not have to deal with ANYTHING!!
