A little Confused About the Auto Dimming Mirror

I just picked up my e90 335i last Thursday.
I did not get the premium package, so does this mean that I didn't get the auto dimming mirror? I've been driving at night and it's not dimming so I need to know whether to take it back in or not.

I've searched but haven't seen a definite answer. I don't have the tilt switch on my mirror, so it would seem like I would have the auto dimming feature.

Auto dimming is part of the ZPP. I think you turn the clown nose to dim the mirror without that function.

Or buy that dimming mirror for $500 and it comes with the homelink as well. Thats what I plan on doing.

No need for that. I just wanted to know how to dim the damn thing. If all I do is adjust it manualy then I have no problem doing it.

haha, I didn't know that you can dim the mirror by turing the clown nose! In Canada, the auto-dim rearview mirror is standard on 330/335
