if i change the mufflers on me e92 335i to something like magnaflow mufflers and weld on some new tips to it.. i know its going to look nicer with the tips and all.. but is it going to sound better with the muffler? or do i need the full system?

it should sound a little better with just the mufflers...but it'll be louder with the full system, i have IKON muffler sounds really nice not to loud and not to quiet...... planning on getting SR pipes from eisenhaus. my friend has a 335i e92 and my exhaust tone is slightly louder than his, and mine is bolt on, ill weld everything when i get the pipes...

when did you get the IKON???? what other mods have you done to the car?

and i really want to fit some quad tips on the mufflers.. but i really dont know how much they will charge for cutting my bumper.. is it something easy to do and can i do it myself if i have no experience with cutting ... if i have the right tools can i manage? bodyshops will probobly chrage around 300 - 400 just to cut my bumper.

i got IKon like a week ago and lux3.0. me and insahalik will meet up in streets of woodfield this saturday around 10pm if u want to join us ull be more than welcome....(he wants to see my lu3.0)......and for AKbmw i wouldnt recomend cutting ur self itll probably look cheap a shop can do it better.put money in to quality.

i have a wedding to go to, but we should meet up sometime. how much was install on the muffler and did you just cut off the stock one? or do you have some other pipes?

install was $50...yeah just cut off the stock and bolt on the new one

alex a local member jon martin has full magnaflow on his 335 and i heard it in person at a meet it sounded really good when he flew by me...theres a vid but it doesnt do the exhaust justice.

its going to look nicer with new tips...but with the full system you get your gains and nice sound.

as for cutting your rear bumper...dont try it yourself...if anything go hit up jimmy at royal muffler...when i had my car and was going to go for quads he was going to cut my rear and put a full catback exhaust for like a hooked up price i cant really say here.
