This is probably due to speedometer error right?

Hey guys,
Haven't been on this board for quite a while but noticed something on my trip computer on my recent trip to Syracuse. So i'm guessing the speedo is off by about 4mph at that speed hence the 172 miles traveled?

p.s. - dont ask how i managed to average 90 mph.

You have to appreciate a car that will average 23.0mpg when traveling at an average speed of 90mph.

Did you drive straight and not stop or did you let the car idle for a period of time? This will effect the trip computer...

It was a non stop run. Re-set the trip computer as i was waiting to merge onto the highway.

lol just a very reliable radar detector that picked up on all 4 nys troopers i encountered. I'll post some video of the drive at some point. There is literally no traffic up there...all open road. Coming back down towards ny however, i couldnt match my speed. Gas mileage improved though

Yep, it's the "perspective" mode. Looks kinda neat, but I don't really use it that much.... doesn't show the roads & intersections and stuff like the regular views.
