Well got my car all ready for Summer 2012, thought i'd share some pics and my progress of where i want, and got my car to at this point.

My goal with this car was to be a sort of wolf in sheeps clothing while keeping the look classy, clean and OEM BMW as possible exterior wise but to have the power within.

I also wanted my car to perform the daily tasks of daily driving (Especially in NY) when needed without compromising for i.e. big rims/low drop/ hard ride / drone with full exhaust / etc.

2 big factors i wanted to share for my daily driving concerns (rims, suspension/ride height and Exhaust sound/drone)

After cracking two rear rims on the inner lip of the rim, and needing a wheel alignment so early, and from cracking one of my front Carbon fiber lips from the destroyed roads, NYC roads were putting a beating on my car. Not to mention i was in NYC with friends and couldnt get into 3 gas stations because the entry curbs were too steep and my car too low! So you see why i am on the OEM rims and OEM m-sport suspension.

With that said, i kept the 18" OEM M-sport rims for the clean OEM look and to deal with the harsh roads and daily driving in NY, along with the performance factor you get with the 18" inch rims and paired them with a set of michelin pilot super sports. This combo proved to be amazing, performance was GREAT and ride quality wasn't compromised as the RFT were ditched for one of the top of the line performance tires for the street.
Keeping the car as daily driver friendly and NY road acceptable, the OEM suspension and ride height paired with the michelin tires proved to handle everything i desired exceptionally well.

For my exhaust, this combo is something i fell in love with the second i started my car. Having been in many different 335i's with exhausts, numerous hours of searching, and trying many combos myself, this combination is was perfect. Gives the performance i am looking for with minimal rasp and close to zero drone what so ever, which was a big deal for me. The sound and noise is just perfect, keeping the OEM mufflers in place was just the touch my exhaust needed. Loud when WOT, but perfect while cruising and around town

Enjoy the pics. First stock suspension and stock rims COTM? lol

TRUE.

Yup im sure a standard car with a drop with big rims would make COTM, but a car like that would be unuseable for me on these NY roads and driving to NYC, dam impossible without damage.. For me, this is the perfect combo of power, OEM stlying and drivability, so this is m view of a good setup.. And of course a man can dream of COTM cant he. haha

Thanks alot.. Its a modified or different snorkel that faces directly at the DCI instead of the OEM snorkel which points away from the DCI.. of course the snorkel once you have DCI's is useless without scoops
