Do you guys know of any 1/4 mile tracks in NY/NJ area? I want to do some 1/4 mile runs. Also, any shops that have dyno? If so, anyone interested in doing either one or both?

Turbotrix in edison NJ. Imp Intl Motorsports in clifton. They both have dynos. Just call and make an appointment.

I have always been a fan of Englishtown Raceway, I believe wednesday and friday nights are "street grudge nights" where it is open to anyone. Cost is like $20 or $30 bucks to race all night. Also they allow gambling so it gets interesting.

As far as a dyno. The only dyno I know of is at my body shop in great neck.

North Shore Auto Collision/North Shore Auto Salon/Vettetech
516-466-DENT (3368) They do excellent body work, detailing, and performance mods. While they specialize in performance mods and restoration for Corvettes. The owner is a speed freak and is very talented. He is very anal and everything that comes out of there shop is absolutly perfect.
He has a dyno in his shop, I asked him a couple of weeks ago about how much he charges he said $150/for 3 runs.

I don't know if that is normal, high or low priced. But to me it seems somewhat reasonable.

thanks for the heads up about the lane. i actually forgot my helmet at home, so i won't be going. i'm going next friday night for sure. i live in essex county, but i work in morris plains on rt ten.
