Sport Suspension on e92 Coupes...
Yes, the 335i Coupes come with sport suspension with SP. Yeah, MOST 328i Coupes come with sport suspension.
For approximately 2 months, e92 328i Coupes were built without sport suspension, yet charged full price on SP. I don't want credits, or a voucher, or anything ELSE but my f*@#ing sport suspension put on. Anyone heard anything or going through the same issues? I haven't heard anything form BMW, and I work for the damn company |

Nope, its a separate option code (704) and is found on our most recent batch of coupes we put outside...This really burns my ass.
Sways bars, springs and shocks are what it consists of, and the car looks retarded without that .6" drop, seriously. |

apparently BMWAG decided to build two months worth of e92 328i's WITHOUT sport suspension, not giving any reason at all. It now falls under the sperate no charge option code 704, and is included in SP again.

All E92s were supposed to have the "sport" springs, shocks, and sways. At this point I would opt for the M-sport package. Or better yet get some credit and go get coilovers & a proper set of sways.

I would be too. And I could not live with the soft suspension for 2 months, let alone two years.
Lots of folks selling their ZSP suspensions. I'll be selling mine as soon as I can get my hands on the new Bilstein ride control, cockpit adjustable coilovers.

To me, if you didn't get what you paid for, that's one thing, but if BMW makes changes to what they offer/don't offer, that's another. The response here is like applying for a mortgage and not locking the rate, and having it go unfavorable. How is that in your control?
The E9x now has HD radio, USB iPod integration, a new blue color. The price also went up. It makes no sense to get upset about such changes imho. |

e92's in rear wheel drive format have ALWAYS come with sport suspension when ordered with Sport Package. For one reason or another, this spring (march/april) e92 328i's WITH Sport Packages were not built with sport suspension. After that 2 month period, the suspension was back on the cars, and is listed on the MSRP under option code 704, and is considered a NC (no charge) since you already paid for it in the sport package. I paid the full price for SP, got no sport suspension, and haven't heard a damn word. I had the car built with SP, heatest seats, iPod/USB, 6-Speed manual, Montego/Black. I ALSO was driving a rental when i took delivery of my e92. I'm just a bit peeved that I receieved one of the bastard batches cars. |

My sticker says "Sport Package," and being a 335, under it "18" alloy wheels," "performance tires," "front sport seats." Nothing else about a sport suspension. Under "Engineering and Safety Features," "Double-pivot-type front suspension with aluminum components," "Five-link rear suspension," and "Twin-tube gas-pressure shock absorbers."

I have an e92 328i with NO sport package and I'm pretty sure I have sport suspension. Sport package consisted of wheels, seats, and a speed limiter. Thats it. All coupes should have sport suspension with or without the sport package.

I'm confused. I thought ALL E92's (except the xi's) have sport suspension standard. SP adds sport seats and bigger, performance tires, but I thought suspension was unchanged on the coupes (unlike the sedans). Are you saying some E92's that aren't xi's were uilt without sport suspension. Do you have any documentation on that? do you have VIN's or a time frame? Thanks in advance for the info.

Interesting.
My car was a late April build, so after reading this I went out and checked my papers. I've assumed the car had a sport suspension, as it feels the same as the car on my test drive and looked nice and hunkered down unlike the xi's I saw on the lot. So on my window sticker, it lists: Sport Package - 18" performance wheels and tires - sport seats Then later on down the page, it has a separate line item for Sport Suspension (no charge) So I must have gotten lucky and had my car built after it went back to a no-cost option. I would have been seriously pissed! |

Also Matto, other than the window sticker, is there any other way to see if we have sports suspension (704) package? Thanks
