1M warranty issue - front fender liner replacement (cross-reference)

Just posted a 1M warranty issue in the "Wheels | Tires | Suspension | Chassis | Brakes" section:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=682196
Deemed it appropriate to cross-reference to that thread over here in the General Section for those who do not check that technical section.
Please comment over there.

Exclamation Follow up on the front fender liners warranty issue

Follow up.

Seems that BMW modified/improved the mounting system of the fender liners and indeed replaces these under warranty.

Information just confirmed by BMW to Belgian forum member gs/e60/1M? (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=33).

No product recall (yet?), but check if there's any rubbing of the front wheels of your 1M and keep this matter in mind during the next service of your 1M at your BMW dealership.

Has anyone in th USA had the liners replaced under warranty? Is so could you look on your repair order and see if there is an operation code on the line with the work related to the liners?

I have been procrastinating taking my car in. I only rub on the passenger side when reversing to the left oddly. But it is loud, annoying and likely causing damage to my tires. Would love to know as well.

Extremely unlikely that it's damaging your tires.
