335i emblem black plastidip before/after

plastidip'd my emblem this weekend...had to redo the 3's a couple times but beats spending 30 for the emblems elsewhere.

Looks good.

Might want to try a black/white emblem to match though.

Yeah! I was a little scared at first...but after watching vids on youtube I figured I'd give it a try...phew thank god it peeled off like in the video...I just used a toothpick and tweezers to get between the numbers. I'll wash the car tomorrow, like I normally would, without using extra care on the numbers just to see how it holds up...if it wears off, I know for the next car wash and I'll just apply another coat.

How come you didn't just take them off, paint them, and put them back?

Looks good btw.

With plastidip it cuts itself nicely around the edges of the numbers. And plastidip is reversible. I guess now that i know i like them black it would make sense to take them off n paint them if the plastidip ever wears off

Where did you get it from? It's a mod I've been putting off, but I want to do.

I ordered mine from JleviSW, they came out great. Also got my matte black grille from him and painted reflectors. They're great too.

My roommate got his gloss black emblems from him as well and they are great

Looks good, I'm a big fan of the black and white theme. You should get some smoked blacklines next!
