"Oops Upside Your Head": free interpretation courtesy of TG Australia
Another 1M down. This time in Down Under. As they noted: "Limited edition gets even more limited".
Sorry if repost. (source: http://www.mischief.tv/forums/showth...D-a-new-BMW-1M)

Looks like snap oversteer on the bend, rides up the banking ( going by the dirt on the left side wheels, we are RHD in Aus' ) and flips.
I've seen this actual car and it is in the process of being rebuilt as a group C racing car, which is the Aussie production car class, to compete in endurance events. |

BSM (and VO) sometimes need airbag inflation too.

Is it wrong that everytime I see one of these poor, wrecked 1Ms my second (or third) thought is... I wonder if it's close enough to go get spare parts off of?

Car manufacturers got to produce/keep enough spare parts for future repairs/restoration. Would be wise for BMW to keep an extra stock of 1M parts.

And I know just the attitude. Looking at wreaks like this is really sobering as I drove in a similar reckless fashion when I first got my car. I got lucky and didnt do any damage despite how close I came on a few occasions. Sad to see any flipped car let alone one that wanted and couldnt get |

Don't get me wrong, my first thought is (usually) that I hope no one got hurt but I'll be damned if I don't occasionally look at other cars on the road and think something along the lines of... (Please don't hit me, I can't replace this )
And no, I'm not driving around like a nervous wreck or anything, I've just become mindful of the fact that a totaled 1M means there's one fewer... EVER.

(edit: ok, ok...you may need tires too. but then you'll be hooked and you'll probably get a while different shoe setup for trackdays. then...you'll be hooked AND a better driver. there goes your wallet...lol!) |

Close call for a 1er (00:01-00:08) and an E46 3er (01:17-01:22) on a circuit in Riga (Latvia [Eastern Europe]).

Nice vid, where is that? Seems like people need to take driving courses especially behind the wheel of powerful cars that haven't done so already, MHO.
Good thing no accidents Cheers |

Graunching. I never, ever want to hear that sound.
