baseline dyno before or after installing tune?
My PROcede V5 and BMS DCI just came in the mail (thanks to Jeff@topgearsolutions).. Should I get the stock numbers by:
1) dyno, install the tune, then dyno again probably on a separate day 2) install the tune, dyno run, then go to map 0 and dyno again Also, is there any difference at all between map 0 and the procede completely uninstalled? |

Dyno before tune install would be the best approach but there will be very little difference between map 0 and stock. It's more likely there will be no difference at all.
So if it would require a separate visit and a greater expense I would not even bother. If you were considering waiting to be FBO before going to the dyno for a baseline that would be a different story altogether.

I think map0 is passthrough, meaning the tune is basically not there and not interfering with data the various sensors are sending to the DME.
run for a while on map0 or with the tune to make sure your DME has properly adjusted...

you also need time for the tune to adapt once you put it in.

would it matter if I dyno two separate days? I hear lots of talk about testing conditions and ambient temperature.. will it matter that much? because I don't think I'd be able to dyno stock then install both then dyno again same day (it'll be my first time installing)
