Ordered some carbon fiber wrap and got a buddy of mine to wrap it for me to see what it would look like. Finished all the trim except the center console. Everything turned out decent but some edges have the crinkle where the corners are round. I might have to take them off to fix those edges.

Ordered them from China from a supplier i have been dealing with. 21 bucks for 1 sq meter. I figured it was a better deal than 30 bucks for 2 ft.

after few years it's been around, i still don't get tired of seeing how it trasnforms the interior. thinking of doing it again but will keep center console matte black M3 style this time.

Hey man,
I have the same saddle brown interior on my e93. I bought the 3m CF and wrapped the car. It looks great, but when I put the top down the CF almost has a blueish tint. Does yours looks like this? Maybe its just the lighting, but kind of threw me off and was a bit upsetting when I discovered it. Does yours have the same appearance in direct sunlight? |

I'm using the 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl Flex Wrap. It's actually really easy to work with and extremely flexible. Again, it's all about being patient and taking your time. Took me about an hour to take the passenger side dash trim off and wrap it. I've never wrapped trim before and I'm actually surprise how easy it is to do. If you're thinking about it....just pull the trigger. You'll be happy you did. |
