Revozport CF Hood
Hey guys,
I'm a little torn with this decision. Revozport offers a CF hood in two presentations, single sided or double sided CF. I have a BSM 1M and I am looking into getting the CF hood. My dilema lies in whether to leave it with the Carbon fiber look (I already have CF spoiler and mirror caps, but I think leaving the hood in CF would be too much of a carbon look), or either get the single sided CF hood and paint all BSM or getting the double side hood and just painting the top part so I can still see the carbon weave on the inside when I open the hood. What do you think?? Option 1) Leave the hood in CF Option 2) Paint all of of a single sided hood in BSM Option 3) Paint a double sided hood only on top in BSM and leave the carbon look on the inside.

And get the aerocatch option! The vented hood looks so cool! Would love to get an double sided hood with vents (aerocatch option) and paint the top in AW!

Leave it alone. If you got it, flaunt it.

if i may add....
Option 4 - Get a double sided hood and paint it BSM except for the 2 ridges exposing a little bit of the CF. Leave the underside in full carbon. IMO, leaving the entire hood in carbon disrupts the "classiness" of the car. It can be argued that it looks aggressive, but only if the rest of the car is aggressive enough to match. I think that the carbon hood fad is long over due and looks dated...looks good on some extreme Japanese cars.....Veilside for that matter. However, exposing just the right amount carbon at the right spots would give nice contrast to accentuate the fine details of the design...just a peak at what its really made of. If you look closely, the hood in the pic above has the same contrasting scheme. Last edited by swift_switch; 05-15-2012 at 12:30 AM.. |

Aaah! You are right! I saw a picture on their website where it looked like there was a hood without the cooling vents... But you are right the aerocatch is probably the ugly hood mechanism! That I really don't want!!! Sorry for the confusion! I would order without that! But love the cooling vents! ;-)
