Style 269 19" on F30

I have been offered these rims by a friend who is not using them anymore. They are painted black.

http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/269

I have an F30 335i on order. Will they fit?

And if so am I nuts to put winter tires on them for winter only use and stick to the stick 18" Sportline rims for summer? Remember they're black otherwise I'd use them for summer as they're larger than stock 18".

If someone could be kind enough to photoshop these rims in black 19" on a glacier silver F30 335i I would be very grateful.

Pretty please.

Here are the photos to use...

I understand the bolt pattern would work but I have no idea what the offset means or how it works. Will these rims for on an F30 and what size tires will I need on them?

Please any help is appreciated.

The 269 are 19x8 ET37 front and 19x9 ET39 rear.
OEM F30 19" are 19x8 ET36 front and 19x8.5 ET47 rear.

So front is no problem with only 1mm difference in offset.
But the rear will stick out 8mm + the 1/4 inch extra wheel width on the outside.

They will fit without rubbing. I have 19x9.5 38 offset in the rear no issue with super sport suspension.

Here is a picture of the Style 269 Rims that my friend just gave me. They are 19" staggered and the size, offset etc. are detailed above.

Because they're black they are not my taste to use as my main non-winter rims and as such I will stick with the stock 18" Sport Line rims. However, I would like to use these 19" rims for winter tires. I understand I should go as narrow as possible for winter tires to perform better. I'm thinking 225 width. Can any one please recommend/explain what is the narrowest winter tires that will fit on these rims?

I'm thinking 225/40/19 winter all around. By my calculation that keeps the same tire/rim height as 225/45/18. Will that work? Or do I have to stagger the width of the winter tires since the rear rims are wider? Fronts are 19x8 and rears are 19x9.

Thank you very much.

225/40/19 should be fine for the rear, you might see a slight stretch to the tires though.

So the 14mm bolt of the F30 can fit through the holes of the E90 wheels? Can you confirm?

To be honest I don't know that they'll fit for sure. I thought I read on this forum that they would and I saw others have used E90 rims on their F30.

Can anyone else please confirm?

Hey Rashid,
The rims will fit 100%.
For tires I would suggest you go staggered with 235s or 245s in the rear.

Thanks, Photoman.

Let me look seriously at staggered. Only reason I was thinking square setup was because I thought narrower was better for snow and I was hoping I could put 225 wide on the rear rims.

You could fit the 225s but wouldn't suggest having "stretched tires" for winter.

Great. So 225/40/19 in front and 235/40/19 in rear?

And do you know if the stock F30 bolts fit these E90 rims?

Looks great.

Any opinions on whether the stock Sportline rims or these black rims look better? i.e. which to use for winter and which for the majority of the year?

I actually really like your stock rims. I actually got over my desire for black rims so my opinion is bias. But those OEM wheels are one of the best in my opinion.
