I'm heading down from NorCal (Gilroy) Friday w/ the Bavarian500 guys.

I live fairly close to the event so I haven't yet made up my mind.

How can we all park together? Would love to get a line-up shot during the event....

if 1Ms wanna get together and roll together that will allow us to park together but who is going??

So, they say to arrive at the gates no earlier than 9. And that the best chance to park together is to arrive together.

Seems to me we could meet up just outside of the gate, then drive in together.

Any of you local guys know where the gate is? Looks like there are a number of parking lots w/ access to a number of streets.

What time should I arrive at Bimmerfest?
Public show hours are from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Please do not arrive any earlier than 9:00 AM or you will need to leave and come back after the gates have opened.
We are coming as a group, can we all park together?
While we cannot promise anything, your best shot is to arrive all at once to the show and you may be able to stay grouped together. There are no specific parking spaces that can be reserved and all parking is handled by a professional parking staff.

I thought people get there as early as 7am to park on the lawn

I can get us there the back way to avoid traffic... not sure which gates will be used and which allow lawn parking, but cant be hard to figure out. I know the rosebowl layout very well, live 5 mins away, workout there every night and attend many fball games/events annually.

Bobby Digital - coming (not confirmed in this thread)
DooBs - maybe coming

What booths will you guys be at? Will your 1M's be at those booths?

Perhaps the other 1M's can attempt to park near those booths somehow.

Powerbeast is at a booth as well

The vendors traditionally were in the center so to park near them would mean to park behind them and face away from the booth. There also is a fence separating the vendor area from the visitor area if I recall correctly.

it will be hard to park near them.

I had a thread for 1Ms to meet up locally and drive in.

Also - looks like some folks are meeting up at Friday night at the Pasadena Yard House. Any interest? Not sure if I'll go given the long drive that day,... and given the fact I'll be staying Santa Monica.
