Battery light...
So I got the battery warning on my dash this morning when I put my key in and before I started my car...
I know I am on original battery and I know I NEED to replace it... my car is an '08 with 57k on it. My question is, how long with my battery last like this? A week or few days? Reason is I am not going to have a chance to replace it until sometime mid-next week... is my car going to last until then? I guess this is a very subjective question with varying answers... but maybe what I am asking is how "soon" does BMW's battery indicator kick on before a dead battery? I dont want to walk out of work today or tomorrow and not be able to drive home. (I will get my local Indy to repalce my battery and register it - how much have you guys paid for this? )

I had the battery icon pop up, i went a few months with no problem. I eventually got it changed when the dealer had a service special a few months later.
